Traveling
Traveling is one of the things I care about most, not just checking places off a list, but actually experiencing them. I love eating my way through a new city, trying food I've never had before, figuring out what a place tastes like before I even understand what it looks like. Beaches pull me in just as much as cities do, there's something about being somewhere completely different, whether it's a quiet coastline or a city that never slows down, that makes the world feel bigger. I also love the experience of seeing museums in new cities.
Basketball and Swimming
Basketball and swimming are the two sports that really shaped me, not just as sports, but as the things that brought me my closest friendships and taught me how to bond with people. I've been a die-hard Knicks fan for as long as I can remember, but basketball for me was never just about watching, it was about playing and being part of something. Swimming, though, is where I really found my competitive edge, I was once a Junior Olympic swimmer, and that experience was some of the most fun I've had, being able to push myself and compete at that level. Both sports gave me more than just physical outlets; they gave me community and a real love for competition.
Museums
Museums are another place I find myself drawn to again and again, there's something about walking through different periods of history in a single afternoon that I never get tired of. I love seeing how people lived, what they valued, what they were fighting for or against, all laid out in front of me. And the paintings are their own thing entirely, I could spend a long time in front of a piece that catches my eye, just taking in the detail and trying to understand what the artist was getting at.
